Yes. Baldwin County has mandatory garbage collection. You must either be on garbage service of some kind or have a "haul your own permit" which is obtained through the Health Department.

As with any other public utility, the information gathered is required due to collection and refund issues. 

You will receive your statement quarterly, depending on when you start service, as to what billing cycle you are in. You may contact a Customer Service Representative for more information.

If your residential garbage account is current, you may pay it online by going to this website, pay at the Billing office drive-thru in the Robertsdale Central Annex rear parking lot, or call a billing specialist and pay over the phone at the number below. The drive-thru accepts cash, checks and credit cards. The scale-houses or landfills, accept cash, checks ​and credit cards also.

For residential customers, ​a garbage cart will be provided to you by Solid Waste Disposal Authority of Baldwin County, AL, Inc., and the ​cost is included in your bill. Contact our office.

Compost, when available, is located at Magnolia Landfill, MacBride Landfill, & Bay Minette Transfer Station.

Cost: $25.00 a ton

There is a limit of 1 ton per customer per day. A ton of compost is about 1 1/2 yards and will fit in the back of a standard pickup truck. We will load the compost for the customer, and they can also put it on a trailer if you don't have a truck. 
Note: If raining, compost will weigh more when wet, recommend to get dry compost if applicable.

No, you cannot place a bulky pickup for a Christmas tree. Information about our Christmas Tree Recycling Program can be found on our website here. If there is no possible way for you to get the tree to the recycle area, you may contact the landfill for further assistance.
