At the Solid Waste Disposal Authority of Baldwin County (SWDA), we are building a smarter, cleaner future by expanding access to recycling. From easy curbside pickup to launching Alabama’s first CHaRM (Center for Hard-to-Recycle Materials) facility, we are committed to making sustainable waste solutions accessible to every household.

Curbside recycling is available for $10 per month with convenient weekly pickup service. The service can be added to your existing garbage collection or used as a stand-alone option in areas where other garbage collection services are available.

Residents can also visit the Fairhope CHaRM and Magnolia CHaRM to responsibly dispose of items that cannot be placed in curbside recycling. These centers provide a convenient place to drop off hard-to-recycle materials, helping keep valuable items out of the landfill and supporting a cleaner, more sustainable Baldwin County.
